They are not yet 30 days have passed since the farewell ceremony for British Airways' last 747/400s. That two former queens of the skies have already found a future.
One of the last 747s parked in Scotland is set to become a movie set before being dismantled piece by piece.
More interesting, however, is the fate of the 747/400 initials G-CIVB, which will be turned into a museum that can be visited starting in spring 2021. The aircraft will be transferred to the former airport in Dunsfold, a place that has become famous for hosting for nearly 20 years the track where the Top Gear show used to conduct all its tests.
The place is about 90 minutes from central London, and you can bet it will become a must-see for all nostalgics of the belle époque of flying and aviation enthusiasts.
