If you like to travel, you have no doubt experienced arriving at the airport 2 hours early and getting stuck because your flight is 2 hours late or having a connection and not knowing what to do between flights, especially if you need to recharge your cell phone or just want to be comfortable in a seat listening to music.

In all these situations having access to the VIP lounges at the airport is a real lifeline. To gain access, you need a premium class ticket and/or alternatively have a status that allows you to access the lounges even if you are flying economy.
First of all, let's distinguish between lounges
There are basically two types of waiting rooms at airports: those directly operated by the airline and those operated by third parties (companies or the airports themselves).

In the former case, you can gain access almost exclusively if you have status or are traveling in business or first class. These locations are generally more beautiful, well-maintained, and better located than the "generalists."
Generalist lounges in turn are further divided into two categories based on the type of airport. Many nonmain airports have only one lounge in the terminal, and this is contracted for all companies operating at that airport, as is the case, for example, at Nice, Orio al Serio, or Riga. Then there are independent ones at major airports.
If in British Airways' concorde room or in the building that houses Emirates' first-class passenger lounge, you can eat caviar and drink champagne, in the independent lounges the offerings are much more standard and low-quality.
Priority pass, how much it costs, how it works and what services it offers
The service has various levels and depending on the type of subscription allows free access and use of all lounge services at no cost, with rare exceptions.
Let's do some calculations. On average, access to a lounge costs 30/35€. If you are not particularly tired or in a crowded stopover, consider carefully whether it is worth the expense. In fact, sometimes it is cheaper to sit in a restaurant and eat/drink something being served than to enter the lounge without knowing if there will be room, food, etc.
Excluding, then, the standard card, I personally would also advise against the intermediate option because even then the benefit is shrill. If, on the other hand, you travel a lot and often with different companies (thus failing to obtain status) or low cost, then this is an investment that pays for itself in the short term.
However, there is a mode that allows you to obtain the Prestige + level, through which you can gain free access with 1 guest countless times. This mode allows you to have free membership.
No trick since this subscription is one of the privileges included in the annual fee of the american express platinum, both personal and business. Alternatively, you can get the standard level and two free annual admissions by subscribing to the american express gold.
Once the credit card is received, one can apply for the relevant card, which will arrive at home in about 3 weeks and from then on will give us access to more than 1,500 lounges around the world and, in some cases, even to restaurants at different airports.
