After the all-you-can-eat fad, the time has come for all-you-can-fly.
This is not a first, but for the European market it is a first. TAP Portugal, one of the most vibrant airlines that have re-emerged from the crisis thanks to significant management and a clear strategy, has launched its first unlimited travel offering within the European network.
The Portuguese airline's all-you-can-fly service has been named the Europe Flight Pass, through which you can travel without limits on TAP direct flights between Europe and Lisbon or Porto. It is available for the Economy Class and the Executive Class for 1 to 2 months, at €2,399 and €3,399 (including tax), respectively.
The rules are not many, you must reserve your seat within 3 days of departure and you can make changes or cancellations to your reservation up to 1 hour before your flight.
This means that for those leaving from Italy, they will be able to fly from Malpensa to the Azores, via Lisbon or book a Fiumicino Lisbon, round trip and in between squeeze in a Lisbon-Amsterdam.
Currently in Italy, TAP has regular flights from 7 airports-Malpensa, Fiumicino, Turin, Venice, Bologna, Florence and Naples.
The European destinations served by the Portuguese company are Germany, England, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Czech Republic, Holland, Hungary, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, and Estonia.
Unlimited travel for the duration of the pass, between Oct. 15 and Dec. 15, those interested in the ticket must begin travel by Nov. 14 to take full advantage of it.
In the FAQ an interesting aspect is read: the pass is not named, but is shareable with friends and relatives.
Certainly in an era of restricting freedom of movement, we need to figure out how to take full advantage of what is on offer.
