This project was not born in these months of lockdown and non-essential travel bans, but we decided to launch it anyway because it is right now, as we are about to enter the second lockdown, that we need to look beyond it. To when this nightmare will be over and we will return to life as before, or almost.
We go online on November 2 at 5:13 pm: we wanted to play on a symbolic date to exorcise all those who say "there will be no return to travel as before, tourism is dead and it will take years before it returns to pre-crisis levels."
We also chose 5:13 p.m. as the time because we do not believe in Kabbalah. In the world of travel, these two numbers are almost always absent: have you ever sat on a Boeing in row 17? Or on an Airbus in row 13? Have you ever visited Deck 13 of a cruise ship or skyscraper? Here, we do not believe in these traditions, and that is why, as of this moment, we are online.
What is The Flight Club?
This site wants to talk about the world of reward travel, or the possibility of travel by taking advantage of points and miles, to stay in hotels around the world paying less or even for free. We will tell how to fly on the major airlines and in the various classes of travel. We will not tell you about phantom upgrades to first class, but we will tell you what mistakes you should not make in order to succeed in Miami vacation, in business, simply by paying taxes.
What is not The Flight Club?
We are not a travel agency, we are not travel bloggers, we are not a guide for "tourists by chance." We will not accompany you on your travels, but we will teach you how to get the most by spending the least. We will explain to you why every once in a while it's okay to pay a ticket or where to go to shopping to earn points and attain your coveted prize ticket.
We are not some kind of Tripadvisor or even Booking-we are a site that will explain which credit card to use to get the biggest advantage in that particular expense, or which credit card will bring the best advantage to get your purpose.
What will TFC be about?
