Next time you fly to America, either from Italy or on domestic flights, you could also take advantage with basic economy ticket. a small but very convenient benefit that until yesterday was reserved for frequent flyers, namely free priority boarding.
The change will be introduced starting today, December 16, and will be active on all flights operated by American Airlines, a carrier that belongs to the One World alliance.

How to get priority boarding
American airlines, but increasingly European airlines as well, are using "boarding groups" to divide aircraft access and reduce chaos at the gates. Depending on ticket type, flight class, and level in the various loyalty programs, a group is assigned to each passenger.
The first to have access will be, regardless of ticket class, ConciergeKey holders the highest level in the OneWorld frequent flyer program. As seen in the table above, there are 9 boarding groups in total with basic economy passengers being the last to be allowed on the plane.
In fact, however, from today it will be enough to be a member of the American Airlines loyalty program, AAdvantage, to rightfully enter Group 6 before the vast majority of tourist class passengers.
It is a small but concrete benefit and is the first time it has been included in the base level of an airline loyalty program. Getting on earlier means not risking having your carry-on baggage "shipped" to the hold because the plane is full, having more time to stow your items on board, Do not struggle with having space in the hatboxes and not have to move dozens of trolleys to make room for your own.
