Compiling the ranking was, as every year, AirlineRatings.com. The famous website looked at a number of parameters, a clear indication of how safe a carrier is for its passengers. What are they? The number of airline disasters and accidents, audits by governing bodies and the aviation industry, safety measures taken, and the age of the fleet.
Here, then, are the scores added together, Qantas ranked as one of the safest airlines.
The safest airlines to fly with in 2021
In naming Qantas "world's safest airline", AirlineRatings.com noted how the Australian carrier, which is then the oldest as it has been operating continuously for no less than a century, has accumulated a truly incredible number of safety records. That is why it is considered a leader in this aspect.
