Alitalia, we know, is still in the middle ground of an endless crisis, Sunday, February 28, however, is an important date for all Coop customers..
At the end of the month, the annual loyalty program campaign expires and unused points will be lost, which is why it is imperative to remember to go to the nearest Coop store to apply for conversion.
Just bring the two cards (also in digital format) with you. Unfortunately, the procedure is quite slow, as the Coop point attendant will have to transfer the points by hand, 100 Coop points at a time. If, therefore, you have a lot of points to transfer you will have to at least be patient for about ten minutes.
Coop points are not all the same
Alitalia and Coop have been partners for a long time, the standard conversion is for 100 Coop points to become 100 to 500 miles depending on the different "cooperative alliance."

Why a decision must be made by February 28
Coop points not used by the deadline are cancelled, therefore lost, which is why it is essential to use them in some way and obviously we lean toward converting to Millemiglia points.. Given the situation of our former flag carrier, it is not a foregone conclusion that the partnership will be renewed, so it may be the last time that points can be converted between the two loyalty programs, as it is possible that the conversion ratio may change in the future.
