Will the United States really reopen to Europe? Reliable sources give it (almost) for certain. Although no precise timeline has come from the government, the direction taken by Biden and his entourage is clear: to limit the spread of the virus nationwide-and the vaccination campaign is working like a charm-so that they can soon reopening the borders.

To be fair, several experts have suggested caution. And they urged the president to take more time to reopen air travel and leisure travel, despite the fact that by mid-May the change will be really evident, with almost all Americans vaccinated.

As for the International flights from the United Kingdom, Europe and Brazil, the Biden administration has decided to conduct weekly assessments. The experts' concern is more about variants, which spread very quickly where security measures are relaxed. Currently, the direction seems clear: to only allow Travelers in possession of negative Covid-19 test. But only when the United States has administered the vaccine to most of the population.
Before leaving the chair, Donald Trump had announced the elimination of travel restrictions with allied countries.. However, Biden reinstated them, in part because of the new wave that hit the United States in early 2021. So will Italian tourists travel to the United States next summer, to move between New York and Los Angeles? Or perhaps to visit American parks, drive along Route 66 or relax in Hawaii? The hypothesis does not seem so remote. Especially thanks to the spread of the Covid-tested flights, which newly appointed President Draghi has promised to implement.
