The scenic train will resume travel to and from Pikes Peak starting in May following An approximately $100 million renovation which includes new trains and tracks, new depot, and a new visitor center. "We are excited to reopen the railroad so that the public can experience and enjoy this scenic American adventure with such an important history. We have been working on this project for three years and are very excited to finally reopen." The experience takes three hours considering round trip and train tickets cost $58 for adults and $48 for children under 12 if purchased online in advance. It is also possible to book a one-way train ride and bike up or down from the top of Pikes Peak. More information about one-way train experiences will be announced soon.
