British Airways has greatly increased the number of places that can be booked through the Avios, the premium currency used by the airline.
They are therefore doubled guaranteed award seats in all flight classes on board the BA fleet and on all flights throughout the entire network.
In detail here is how availability will change in Euro Traveller (short-haul economy), Club Europe (short-haul business class), World Traveller (long-haul economy class) and Club World (long-haul business class) .
It has also added for the first time guaranteed availability in World Traveller Plus, British Airways' long-haul premium economy cabin. This extra availability is valid on flights from July 28, 2021 and can be booked from today.

Among the new features is the fact that for the first time, award seat availability will also be guaranteed in World Traveller Plus, British Airways' long-haul premium economy cabin. Tickets can be booked now on flights from July 28, 2021.
This will require using Avios points, paying a cash amount that covers only taxes, fees and carrier charges. On short-haul, round-trip flights start from a minimum of £1 plus Avios and on long-haul flights from £100 plus Avios.
In addition to guaranteed seats, British Airways regularly makes available millions of extra award tickets to destinations across its network. Thanks to today's changes, extra award seats added to the BA reservation system exceed the quota 250.000.
Taking advantage of Membership Rewards points conversion. toward Avios points, booking them is super easy.
This is the latest step in a series of improvements that British Airways has brought to its Executive Club.. In March, the airline announced that Would have protected Tier status of program members for an additional year. In February, British Airways announced a six-month extension to all Executive Club vouchers. This was the third extension to be implemented, following similar activities in March and October 2020.
Finally, British Airways continues to reduce by 25% the amount of points needed to reach each level for those whose collection year ends before July 2022.
