Wanting to give a practical example, here is what it proposes once the simple search is done: "Spain hotels". Just two words, generic to say the least, for those who want to start getting an idea of the places to discover in some Iberian regions. The Covid-19 alert in this case emphasizes the following information, "Test for negative Covid-19 mandatory to be performed within 72 hours before departure." Below that is then a link back to an official source, in this case the Spanish Ministry of Health.

The advantage is that any traveler holding such a certificate will in no way be subject to travel restrictions. Thus, one will be assured of not having to undergo quarantine periods, fiduciary self-isolation or further testing.
Parliament also wanted to provide reassurance regarding the handling of private data. No information contained in the certificate will be stored by the destination countries. No central database will also be created at the European level.
