Today, however, we are talking about a hotel that does not give a view of a runway, but rather of a racetrack, specifically the Schönberghof, which overlooks the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, Austria, from above.
A modern facility, well within the context of the environment in Styria.
In this facility everything is made in full respect of the environment, the bike park available to guests immediately gives a pleasant welcome. And there is no lack of an electric charging station outside.

Sleeping in this facility is not cheap, however, as rooms hardly drop below 150/200 euros, and on race days the price goes up and not just a little. If the sound of engines is your drug, let's say you can easily overdose here.
The room

Definitely cozy room and comfortable bed with classic all-around comforter.
A more than correctly sized wall-mounted TV is immediately striking.
Although one is not in a 5-star facility, the details are neat and tasteful such as a themed library, also serving an aesthetic function as well as excellent guest service.
Also striking is the size of the door, which is of great thickness that excellently insulates against hallway noise.
The real plus is the mega terrace that every room on the top floor has; it is not a space for the faint of heart since both F1 and the MotoGp world championship are raced on this circuit.
If you book at this facility, you want to breathe in the exhaust of the racing cars whizzing through the curves and as a wake-up call you want to hear a 12-thousand-rpm engine without getting out of bed.
Privacy is not the best, but we are in the stands, so it is also nice to be able to share the moment with some strangers.
As mentioned in the room there is nothing missing, in fact there are goodies like a tablet to connect to the internet, look up info about the track and what to do in the surrounding area.
The bathroom is also excellent. Underfloor heating manageable by the guest, spacious and plenty of personal care products. Perhaps the only flaw is that it is not windowed, but this is now a very common standard around the world.
In conclusion, breakfast. On our site we have told of spectacular awakenings by the sea in the Maldives or Dubai, but here, too, there is no messing around.
