Malta pays tourists: the proposal
The Malta Tourism Authority has decided to reimburse up to 100 euros per person, against a minimum stay of three nights in a hotel on the island. Thus, starting June 1 (the date set for reopening), those who vacation in Malta, Gozo and Comino will receive the much-appreciated bonus (the amount of which varies depending on the hotel category). More specifically, they will receive a refund of 100 euro Who chooses a five-star hotel. Staying overnight in a four-star hotel entitles you to a bonus of 75 euro, which fall to 50 If the hotel has three stars.
Here then, to say that Malta pays tourists, is not really correct. Travelers will not receive cash, but rather "credits" to spend within the hotel in the form of additional night, spa treatment, room upgrades, bar drinks, special dinners.
