It is time for reopenings and we can finally fantasize about where to spend the vacations this Summer, the announcement is fresh off the press: Air Arabia returns to fly from Milan Bergamo, in the direction of Morocco and Sharm El Sheikh.

This summer, the Arab company will increase its presence in Europe: will be well 11 the new routes including Marrakech-Barcelona, Fez-Marseille, Toulouse-Paris-Tangier, Bilbao-Valence and Milan-Casablanca, and Naples-Sharm El Sheikh.

For now, as far as theItaly, operational airports are limited to Milan Bergamo and Naples, but connections to other cities along the Boot will also reopen soon.

"From Morocco we serve seven cities in Italy: Bologna, Milan, Turin, Venice, Naples, Catania and Pisa. So Italy is one of our main markets in Europe, and I am sure that all routes will restart very soon.

This period has shown us the importance of digital communication: since the beginning of the crisis, we have regularly shared information with customers through our social media, via email or even from our website and digital platforms. We have also continued to improve the security of our customers."

Air Arabia, fleet and destinations

The company was founded in 2003 in the United Arab Emirates and began operating first in Middle East, and then expand to Asia and Europe as well. The main airport is the International Sharjah. It controls three companies, namely Air Arabia Egypt, Air Arabia Jordan and Air Arabia Maroc.

The fleet has 50 aircraft and is composed entirely of Airbus A320-200, with about 165 seats all in Economy, since it is a Low Cost airline. Air Arabia has also ordered 120 Airbus A320neo, an airplane that we will increasingly see in skies around the world.

Air Arabia's coverage is quite capillary, both in the Middle East/Asia and in Europe, easily covering Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Egypt, UAE, Saudi Arabia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Morocco, Nepal, Netherlands, Oman, Portugal, Qatar, Russia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, United Kingdom and many others.

Air Arabia summer flights

After the upcoming opening of borders in Morocco, Air Arabia will connect Milan Bergamo with Casablanca, thanks to Italy's inclusion on the "A list" of low-risk countries.

Morocco It will also recognize the European Green Pass with which we can prove, via app, that the vaccination complete against Covid-19, the negative test or the healing and thus have the doors open without the need to comply with a quarantine period.

Also Naples is operational: the connection between the Neapolitan capital and Sharm El Sheikh, operating every Monday. It is also possible to go to Sharm from Bergamo; the flight operates every Sunday.

In the pre-pandemic period, there were about 850.000 Italian tourists who visited Morocco during the year, the most popular destinations were obviously Marrakech but also Fez, Tangier, Rabat, Agadir and Ouarzazate.

In Morocco, bars and restaurants are OPEN, as well as museums, cinemas, stores, theaters, cultural venues and beach areas. The mask requirement, social distancing and capacity limits are still in effect, but in principle everything can be done in compliance with the rules.

From July 1 the Green Pass will finally be operational, so what are you waiting for to book your flight? If you're on the fence, fear not, all the big companies are Offering flexible tickets!
