There finally seems to be an end to the soap opera of recent weeks, the one that has in fact slowed Alitalia's sales even more in these summer months: the bogeyman of the non-recognition by ITA Of tickets sold by Alitalia.
The government has decided to create a special fund to reprotect passengers by allowing them to also board other airlines to reach their intended destination, thus making the passengers with a ticket sold by Alitalia will be able to take a flight from the new ITA and not lose money and travel.

At this point the new company will be able to take over the staff, some slots and the aircraft it owns (few), while what is left will require participating in the auction imposed by the EU. They will end up at the auction the logo, the AZ code as well as the 055 code that identifies the tickets issued by Alitalia.
The auction will also end up with the "MilleMiglia" loyalty program, but ITA will not participate in the competition as imposed by the rules wanted by Brussels.
