The A321 of the only airline in the world that operates with cabins fitted out exclusively with business class seats is ready to land in Milan: in fact, it will be the Lombardy airport, the first outside the transalpine borders, to host the direct connections of the La Compagnie.
Paris New York flights have just resumed and connections between Nice and New Jersey will also be operational soon, while those between Milan and Newark-Liberty will take off in November.
All about the connection
Tickets for the connection are already on sale. It is currently scheduled 4 times a week between November 29, 2021 and March 12, 2022, with the following operations:
- B0300 Milan to Newark with departure 13:35 arrival 17:10
- B0301 Newark to Milan departure 21:50 arrival 12:15 the following day
The operating schedules are very interesting: departing from Milan shortly after lunchtime arriving in late afternoon in New York, while the return flight from the U.S. is at the end of the day allowing passengers to take advantage of the comfortable sleeper seats and arrive in Milan perfectly rested.
At the moment, round-trip tickets cost just under €1,500, a very competitive fare compared to other carriers operating the same route. Certainly an aspect that will put additional pressure on the new Alitalia: if and when it returns to flying between the two cities, it will find a lot of competition; in fact, shortly the same route Will also be operated by Neos Air.
The expansion of La Compagnie does not stop here, today also announced the connections between Paris and Tel Aviv: The same flight is also sold in connection to New York, thus allowing passengers landing in the French capital to continue to either direction with the same carrier.
