We have spoken several times about "Nowhere Flight," or the flight without destination, organized by some travel agencies or the airlines themselves, to revive the tourism of a region or sponsor a brand or product.
Here comes the Nowhere Flight in Sicily, precisely at the airport of Trapani Birgi, thanks to the small Majorcan charter airline Albastar and one of its Boeing 737/800s.
The initiative, which in other parts of the world has been quite successful, was born with the aim of promote Sicily and the island's tourism: with a flight of 10,000 meters altitude, in fact, it is possible to admire the beauty of this magnificent land.

How does it work?
Booking a flight without a destination is EASY, you have to go to www.albastar.es, which is the website of the airline that arranges the flight, and then:
- Select the airport of departure Trapani-Birgi and return always Trapani-Birgi
- Select the option "one way only"
- Choose as the official date of the event: July 17, 2021
At that point we can proceed with the reservation. One can also book via call center at 095 311 503 and follow the instructions of the attendants.
Departure is scheduled at 7 p.m. and return at 8:15 p.m.-the perfect time to enjoy an unforgettable sunset.
What is being done on board?
Of course, this is not just another flight; the organization did not miss a thing.
The schedule is that of theaperitif, there is in fact a tasting of local DOC wines, accompanied by the gastronomy Sicilian gourmet prepared for the occasion by Chef Nicola Sammartano of Le Caserie restaurant in Marsala.
You cannot miss theentertainment on board, all Sicilian of course, with comedian and entertainer Sasà Salvaggio offering a cabaret show for participants.
Also on board is TikToker Adriana (100% Made in Sicily) who will accompany the comedian during the high-altitude show.
Albastar collaborated with the Sicily Region's Department of Tourism, Sports and Entertainment, the Sicilian Regional Assembly, City of Marsala, Unioncamere Sicilia, Airgest, Le Caserie and We Love Marsala. The media partner for the initiative is Radio Rmc 101.
The price is fixed: 64€ per person, including a mini Sax concert to accompany the sunset. For this time we will not have to worry about the hand luggage, it won't do us much good....
