The summer of 2021 lives, perhaps, with even more uncertainty than the summer of 2020. Last year it was thought that the worst was over and we were moving much more easily than we are today, awaiting the arrival of the Green Pass.
So while Britain announces that the end of the lockdown, and the quarantine for those arriving on the island, is postponed for a month (to mid-July), traditional and low-cost airlines continue to adjust operations, postpone the opening of routes, cancel some and activate others.
Such is the case with the queen of low-cost airlines Ryanair, which has announced new routes from Italy to what, at the moment, appear to be safe destinations for the summer that is now upon us.
Two new routes from Bergamo
One to Aktion-Preveza Airport (Greece) operating twice a week, as well as a domestic connection to Comiso with three weekly frequencies starting in August.
Two new routes from Bologna
The destinations are the same as Bergamo, but with less frequency, to Aktion-Preveza Airport (Greece) operating once a week, plus a domestic connection to Comiso with two weekly frequencies starting in August
As a result, the "Pio La Torre" airport in Comiso, 20 km from Ragusa will be connected to Lombardy and Emilia Romagna in August.
