Switzerland expected to reopen June 28 to vaccinated tourists

According to a Bloomberg report, the Switzerland should be the last country in Europe to open to vaccinated tourists. As of June 28, it is expected that travelers who have received the vaccine will be allowed entry. It is not yet official but it is thought that the reopening is also imminent because France and Italy have already done so. The Swiss government has yet to finalize its plan to reopen, but a final decision is expected on June 23.

Switzerland's proposals for reopening to tourists

It is worth mentioning that Switzerland is not part of the European Union, but falls within the Schengen area, so classic restrictions are still applied to prevent new infections. The Federal Council has sent for consultation a series of proposals to facilitate the entry into Switzerland.
