The airline that for a few years "ruled" in Alitalia and attempted to compete with its sister Emirates, coming out in both cases with broken bones, is preparing to celebrate its 15th birthday and for this has launched a promotion that gives, to all members of the Etihad Guest loyalty program, 1,500 points.
For the 15-year anniversary, 1 mile for every 15 miles accumulated by all members will also be donated to charity.
In addition to the 1,500 gift miles, the Abu Dhabi-based company is launching a miles back of 15%: all members who use the points to purchase flights, upgrades, and any other activities will immediately see 15% re-credited of the points spent.
