In recent weeks, Russian flag carrier Aeroflot officially unveiled its new business class on board its 777/300s. The Russian carrier's choice surprised everyone in the industry since it opted for a very different configuration than the cabin layout found on the new A350s that have just entered the fleet.
Companies try to offer a standard product regardless of aircraft type, so the traveler is sure to find the same proposition and does not have to worry about Figure out whether the cabin will be the nice one or the "lesser" one beautiful. In this case, since these are aircraft already in the fleet, one would expect to find a product equal to Airbuses fresh out of the factory.
The "new" 777/300s
Aeroflot has 18 Boeing 777/300s and all will see cabin revamping. The renovations will affect the entire plane, from economy to business class.
Aeroflot's new business class proposal includes a 1-2-1 configuration with the installation of the same seats that British Airways uses in Club World Suite, including even the small door that allows you to isolate yourself completely from the corridor.
In fact on the Russian carrier's 777s you will be able to have a true private suite, one of the best solutions among all business class cabins in the world. In fact, this solution is also used by Qatar with its QSuites (the chair, however, is different) and from Delta with the Delta One Suite.
A significant step forward from the old configuration and a competitive product for flying to the East by taking advantage of the possibility of making a stop over Moscow.
The changes also affect the rest of the aircraft with the new premium economy, configured with two seats on the sides and four in the central part of the cabin. All with a large touch screen, wider seat and the ability to enjoy more legroom.
Many companies have decided to scrap older aircraft, Aeroflot as British Airways has instead opted to refurbish its fleet of 777s, and it must be said that the job seems to have succeeded perfectly.
