The pandemic changed the plans of all airlines, now, however, on the eve of the reopening of the U.S. borders, optimism has returned and, most importantly, bookings of all passengers who had been stationary for more than 18 months are back.
In recent weeks we have written about the sudden return of A380s to the skies halfway around the world. There are those who like ITA Airways took advantage of this crisis to buy new planes at prices of balance and those who like Lufthansa raided aircraft ready and put into hibernation by companies around the world.
Now also British Airways, after announcing the return of the A380s. starting in November, also surprisingly announced that it will continue to install the new business class cabins on its entire fleet of 777s.
What the Club World Suite offers
With this seat BA has regained a leading position in the premium carrier market. And by the end of next year, its entire Boeing 777 fleet will be equipped with the new cabin.
This chair has debuted on A350s in July 2019 and has since been installed on the entire Dreamliner fleet. The seat offers direct aisle access, a suite door for added privacy, and a seat that converts into a very comfortable bed.
It boasts 40% extra space for passengers to store their belongings. A state-of-the-art in-flight entertainment system, wi-fi and an 18.5″ screen.
A marked step up from the old business class cabin now found aboard 777s and A380s in BA livery.
