Big news for travelers heading from Italy to the United States: it is clear that ITA Airways will operate a small number of routes, other North American companies, on the other hand, are opening up New routes between our country and the U.S., and from next summer the range of options available to Italian tourists will be very diverse.

The link between Milan Malpensa and Newark, in New Jersey, was supposed to leave these days, but the uncertainty of travel convinced management to Move the debut to next spring.
In conclusion
ITA has confirmed that it will fly from Milan Malpensa only to New York, all other routes will go through the Fiumicino hub. This leaves a huge space for other companies at the Lombardy airport, where in fact there will be 6 daily connections to the U.S. of which (perhaps) only one operated by ITA.
