It's called Week of wonders, Italian for "the week of wonders," and is the traditional event that the Marriott hotel chain launches each year to stimulate members to the Bonvoy program to get out of the house, travel, experience and eat at group restaurants.

What is special is that it is not just one offer, but a number of different proposals depending on whether you want to book a hotel at a discounted rate or decide to use the points for the same reservation, up to a super bonus if you buy points or point multipliers for reservations until the end of November.
Here are the various proposals in detail.

The most interesting proposal is perhaps one directed toward the most exclusive facilities, such as the three Italian St. Regis in Venice, Rome and Florence, but obviously valid in hundreds of facilities worldwide. Staying at least two nights you will get a 300$ credit to spend at the hotel. The offer is valid for bookings made by October 14 and stays by January 17, 2022.
Wonder of Escapes
This offer allows you to book a stay in one of the 5,000 hotels participating in the promotion at a discount of 25% off the list price. The offer is valid for bookings made by October 14 for stays until January 17, 2022.
In Italy there are 40 hotels participating in the Week of Wonders, from Venice to Taormina.
Wonder of free nights
One of the best ways to have a real experience is to use points to sleep for free all over the world. Until October 14 it will be possible to book one, or more, award nights at a discount of 33% compared to the points normally required, this means you can really save a lot of points for a stay even over the Christmas period.
Wonder of points
If you lack points, or are thinking of giving them to a friend/relative, you will be able to buy up to 100k Bonvoy points and get a bonus of 55% with this offer.
Wonder of Villas
With this offer by booking a stay in one of the properties in the collection "Homes & Villas" you will earn three times as many points compared to the non-promotion period. By booking by October 21, 2021 on any stay with Homes & Villas by Marriott International until March 31, 2022.
Wonder of Cashback
An exclusive offer for Marriott Bonvoy members. For every 200$ spent at any of the Marriott Bonvoy boutiques through October 14, 2021 you will receive a gift card worth 50$. "To earn, visit one of our online retail stores below, make a purchase and enter your Marriott Bonvoy membership number when prompted after checkout . Gift cards will be emailed around Nov. 15, 2021," the site reads.
Week of Wonders also has other promotions, but of little interest to us "miserable" Italian customers considering also the blocking of travel to many destinations.
