Many of these benefits, for example, status in major chains hotels or theaccess to airport lounges, are well known and advertised, but there are also some much lesser known benefits. In this article we want to list them so that they can be taken advantage of.

Eurostar business premier lounge
The connection between central Paris and London is Eurostar's best-known route, but convoys also run to Brussels, Amsterdam, and Rotterdam.
Platinum holders can access the lounges of:

Access is free for the holder only, so no guests unless they themselves hold an additional Platinum. The lounges are nice and allow isolation from the classic chaos of crowded train stations. The advantage of the train is that you can arrive at the last minute and board, in which case the role of the VIP lounge is different from what you would ask of an airport lounge, but if you are looking for a place to wait warm/cool for the train, being able to have a drink or a bite to eat and check your mail thanks to the wi-fi they are really perfect.

The Centurion Suite Crypto.com Los Angeles (formerly Staples center)
This lounge is open to all Platinum and Centurion holders and you can bring up to 3 guests. It can hold up to 150 people and is operational only during sporting events, thus Lakers, Clippers, and Kings Hockey games. It opens 90 minutes before the start of a game and the entrance is located in front of lane M22 (next to the Team LA Store).
Once inside you get A bracelet that allows free exit/entry throughout the game. This opportunity saves a lot of $ since inside the lounge you can "mooch" both drinks and food, as well as enjoy a beautiful view of the playing field.
Centurion Gate Barclays Center
A very similar proposal to that of Los Angeles is also offered on the opposite side of the U.S., at the Barclays Center in New York City. In the house that hosts Brooklyn Nets games. Amex is a preferred partner of Universal Studios, so if you pay for certain Universal Studios tickets you can access American Express lounges in Orlando and Hollywood. Access to these lounges allows you to fill your water bottles, relax, and munch on something without spending anything (and everyone knows how much a bottle of water or soda costs in an amusement park).

By purchasing any Universal Orlando multi-park ticket or Annual Pass at UniversalOrlando.com or at the Universal Orlando Resort ticket office with an American Express card, you can have access to the lounge from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
American Express Lounge Universal Studios Hollywood
To trigger this benefit, you must purchase a VIP experience or Front of Line ticket from www.universalstudioshollywood.com or at the Universal Studios Hollywood box office using your American Express card. Doing so will give you access to the lounge, which is open from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Access to all Virgin Australia lounges
Of course, we are talking about a benefit on the other side of the world, but it is still better to know and in case of need to use it. The benefit applies, of course, only if you fly with the Australian carrier to one of the following airports: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Canberra, Mackay, Cairns, Gold Coast, Darwin and Alice Springs. Guest access should also be allowed in this case.
In conclusion
These are solo some of the many benefits that are included in the annual fee for American Express Platinum, certainly the lesser-known ones but which, combined with all the others included in the card, can give you a better experience, an advantage or savings such as one of many exclusive Amex offers.
