The Queen Elizabeth 2 was purchased in 2008 by the Maktoum family (the royal family of Dubai). Now, here her transformation has finally been completed. Last October 14, it opened its doors on the'215-room floating hotel' which is part of Dubai's plan for incredible new openings. But more importantly, its giant nightclub was inaugurated with a performance by rapper DaBaby, along with DJs, dancers and acrobats.

Designed to accommodate 1,000 people, Float can accommodate more users than the hotel can. And it is indeed the largest floating disco in the world. Suffice it to say that the Oasis of the Seas, one of the largest cruise ships in operation with a capacity of 5,400 passengers, can accommodate a maximum of 200 in its disco.
The Queen Elizabeth II was launched in 1967 for the Cunard Line, a shipping company specializing in long-haul world cruises. Later transformed into something between an ocean liner and a cruise ship, she began to offer voyages departing from the United Kingdom. She was always a prestigious ship, beloved by the stars of the time. And she even served as a troop ship during the Falklands War in 1982. Later returned to service, she ended her glorious career with Cunard (bought by Carnival Corporation in 1998). Now, here is where a new phase has begun for the Q2. Another extraordinary chapter in the course of her long life.
