Specifically, the long-awaited news was announced related to the possibility of turning residual points into vouchers that can be used on the Lastminute.com website to purchase flights and services.
There are two types of vouchers:
- MM Fly voucher can be used to apply for discounts on the purchase of voils, selectable at lastminute.com
- voucher MM Fly&Stay can be used to apply for discounts on the purchase of packages Flight+Hotel, available on lastminute.com
The first thing that turns the nose up at is that vouchers are of two types, but the conversion rate from MM to Lastminute is identical.

The conversion rate is outrageous, if with Alitalia. you could turn 80k Millemiglia points at A business class ticket from Rome to New York., today 86 thousand points become 250€, no gain for higher or lower denominations. In fact the value of 1€ for every 340 Millemiglia points, a pittance.
Accumulate miles with Lastminute
In addition to spending points on Lastminute, from today you can also accumulate points by spending on Lastminute. In detail. you will earn 5 MM points for every euro spent On the travel portal.
No mention in the newsletter or on the website Of the possibility of using the points to book flights with the partners of Skyteam as communicated by the alliance in recent days.
In conclusion
This is surely the worst possible news for the millions of Millemiglia users still holding points in the former Alitalia loyalty program.
