Luxury and style have always rhymed with Marriott, the U.S. giant of the upscale hotel industry, which is now spread all over the world. And now, the flagship brand W Hotels aims to also land in our country: after the facility that will open in June 2022 in Rome, a new project is planned to cover Florence.

After the capital, the cradle city of the Renaissance could not be missing from the fine collection of Marriott hotel locations, which currently already boasts 14 facilities worldwide under the W Hotels brand. With Florence, the U.S.-based company will merge its modern style with the unique style of one of the world's most fascinating and popular tourist destinations.

An idea that will be realized with the collaboration of the Tuscan company Progetto Majestic Srl and is expected to see the light of day in 2023. The chosen location is near the very central Via de' Tornabuoni, the iconic Florentine shopping street and one of the city's most fashionable areas.
A way to integrate the prestigious W Hotel by Marriott at frame of art and luxury of Florence, with the goal of making it as much an essential element of the city as the Duomo or Ponte Vecchio.
The project currently involves 120 guest rooms, including 20 suites. The floor will be held around a partially covered courtyard and will house the Lounge Bar and Living Room. Moving up the floors will lead up to the Presidential Suite, called the Extreme WOW Suite in the style of W Hotels. It will include a large private terrace that can offer breathtaking views of the city, embracing the church of Santa Maria Novella and the Duomo.

The W Hotels embrace the history of each location, but add an unexpected and challenging experience That will make this hotel a glamorous new destination."
