With United Next, the United Airlines has decided to accommodate the many requests from its customers. United plans to introduce more than 500 new narrow-body aircraft: 40 in 2022, 138 in 2023, and up to 350 in 2024 and beyond. This means that in 2023 alone, United's fleet, on average, will add about one new narrow-body aircraft every three days.
The plan of United will give customers access to more modern seats and aircraft while reducing flights using smaller single-class regional jets. These new aircraft will give customers even more options for flying between U.S. cities, including some new destinations. United also plans to resume its full schedule of flights from Newark by November 2021.
