The Airport of Milan Bergamo continues to generate high levels of appreciation among passengers for the quality of services and use of space, with elevated benchmarks that, despite the difficulties generated by the current pandemic, reward the airport as a whole making it stand out even more in the international air transport scene.

The periodic airport user satisfaction index survey, which is part of Airports Council International's (ACI) World ASQ program and involves 300 of the world's leading airports, sees Bergamo's airport aligned with the world average value (4.4 out of a maximum of 5) and higher than the European average value Which is 4.3.
Passengers' perceived quality values particularly reward all items concerning accessibility, use of spaces within the terminal along with comfort, cleanliness, professionalism and helpfulness of staff, and efficiency of services. The ratings expressed by passengers surveyed during the fourth quarter of 2021 raised the satisfaction level from 4.3 in the previous quarter to 4.4. The increase in the index takes on greater significance when compared with that found in the same period of the previous year, when it had reached 4.1, which still corresponds to the average value for Italian airports.

Milan Airport's passenger satisfaction index. Bergamo achieves the highest level for services aimed at business passengers, at 4.6 against a world average of 4.3 and an Italian average of 4.0. Of absolute excellence is the level achieved by the HelloSky Lounge, which with 4.55 far exceeds both the world average value (4.1), as well as the Italian average (3.9). Milan Bergamo Airport is given very high ratings for the comfort of the terminal, the cleanliness of the areas, the convenience of the internal routes, the ease of reaching the boarding gates and the clarity of the information boards. All of which combine to rank the airport as user-friendly.
The good value for money emerges both in the highly appreciated offer of the commercial and catering establishments in all areas of the air terminal, as well as for the airport terminal's parking facilities, which are considered convenient and close by, combining with the effectiveness of the public road connections constituting an added value in terms of accessibility, confirmed by the high level of appreciation, again higher than that expressed for both European and domestic airports surveyed for quality.
Of particular note is the attribution of excellence to the courtesy and helpfulness of SACBO's airport staff, handlers, and state agencies (Border Police, Guardia di Finanza, and Customs) with reference to their presence and effectiveness of intervention.
