Two of the major brands participating in the Payback points collection launched the contest "Who wants to be lucky?"
January 7 to February 5, 2022 if you spend at least €20 in Carrefour or fill up at least 20L at Esso, you can receive a game card. Scratch the code and play it on App Payback: up for grabs every day 1 Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G e 1.500€ in hundreds of Carrefour and Esso coupons.
The Who Wants to Be Lucky contest
Participating is simple, just go to a Carrefour store and do a minimum €20 shopping or go to Esso to refuel at least 20lt and load the points on your Payback card. You will receive a card from the merchant to scratch to find out the code. Code that will have to be entered on the app to find out in real time if you have won one of the prizes.
Prizes:
- One Galaxy Z Flip 5G phone per day
- 1500 euros in shopping vouchers to be used at Carrefour or Esso
The chances of winning are two per day, 1 at Esso and 1 in Carrefour. In addition, the cards are themselves paper coupons that can be used to accumulate extra points.
How Payback coupons work
Once you have registered with one of the many merchants participating in the points collection, simply go to the app, or the website, to check which coupons you can activate. Generally there are two types of coupons:
- Point Multipliers. These coupons allow you to multiply from 2 to 50 times the number of base points you collect with that specific action
- Fixed bonus. In this case, upon purchase, you will receive a bonus that varies depending on the individual promotion or product purchased
Coupons must be activated and, unless specified, are valid for a single purchase. They cannot be combined, so if you activate several coupons for the same product they will be applied chronologically based on the date/time of activation. This is why I always recommend scrolling down the list of active coupons to the bottom or using the filters to select all the offers of the specific sign we are interested in.
Last but not least, it is important to remember that vouchers have an expiration date, so always better to be careful and not let offers slip through your fingers.
The American Express Payback
There is a dedicated credit card: the American Express Payback, which allows you to earn points every time you use it (1 point for every 2 euros spent). Points double in case of purchases at program partners.
