In a few years, in China, a park dedicated to Hello Kitty. But there is more: in addition to the rides, shows and attractions, the World's first Hello Kitty-themed hotel.
The Sanya Hello Kitty Theme Park Resort, that is its name, will occupy an area of 210 thousand square meters in Haitang Bay on the southern coast of Hainan.
"We think the hotel and the Sanya Hello Kitty Resort can become true icons in Hainan's tourism landscape, enabling us to meet the growing demand for high-quality travel experiences in this region," said Jeffery Pun, chief executive officer of Keyestone Group.
But what will the world's first hotel dedicated to Hello Kitty look like? Let's find out together.
The world's first hotel dedicated to Hello Kitty
It will have 221 rooms and villas celebrating the famous kitty cat. Plus three restaurants, a ballroom for themed parties, a swimming pool, and an innovative spa.
In addition to the theme park itself, the project will in fact house a brand new JdV by Hyatt brand hotels decorated with designs of Hello Kitty and other famous Sanrio characters. A unique project in the Hyatt house, which will see the light of day in 2025 (while the opening date of the park is still uncertain).
Not just China: Hello Kitty in the world
In fact, of places dedicated to Hello Kitty the world is full. A half-hour train ride from Tokyo, and more specifically in Tama, is the Keio Plaza Hotel, which is a few minutes' walk from Puroland, the Sanrio theme park featuring all of Kitty's kawaii characters. Inside is a room dedicated to the famous kitty cat. But there are also a plane and of the themed truck: Hello Kitty Cafe Trucks tour the United States with their colorful treats. South Korea, Hello Kitty Island is a kind of permanent exhibition that recreates the world of Hello Kitty.
In Las Vegas, theHello Kitty Cafe offers a truly mouth-watering menu of freshly baked cookies, cakes, donuts, seasonal treats, and hot and iced drinks, along with a selection of branded products. In Dubai, and in several Asian cities, there are then beauty salons Hello Kitty-themed. A truly unique place for an unforgettable mother-daughter afternoon. Everything here hints at the kitty: the bars, the displays, the stores. Of course, the theme park that will open in China will be on another level. And the hotel with its villas will complete the experience.
