How can an Italian user take advantage of the promotion
Mainly there are 3 modes available to an Italian user who wants to take advantage of this promo:
- Convert points Membership Rewards in Krisflyer points
- Convert points from programs such as hotels, rentals and the like into Krisflyer points
- Shopping on KrisShop, the company's e-commerce portal
I transferred in less than 6 hours 75k MR points to my Krysflier profile. I received 50k Krysflier points + 7,500 bonus points and 10,000 status points useful for renewing my Gold level with Singapore Airlines.
With these points I booked a first-class ticket to fly to New York aboard the brand new first class suite on the A380.
How to become Gold StarAlliance
The easiest way is to transfer your points Membership Rewards into Krisflyer points. To get to the Gold level you will need to convert 375k MR points. You will get 250k Krysflier points, enough to earn 50k qualifying miles.
What to do with 250k Krisflyer points? One idea might be thel around the world in business class.
In addition, thanks to the Automatic renewal of statuses also for 2023 decided by Singapore Airlines at the beginning of 2022, the status obtained in February 2023 will last at least until 2024 and with very little effort can be extended until 2025. Not bad.
The reason is simple: by transferring points these days you will gain status until February 2023, Singapore has already announced that all statuses expiring by February 2o23 will be renewed by 12 months, so here the status obtained now will last a minimum of 24 months.
The same status also thanks to Lufthansa
Until the end of March, however, there is a second opportunity to obtain the same status, and without having to transfer a single point or spend a single euro: Lufthansa's status match.
In this case, the only requirement is to be a customer enrolled in Alitalia's old program and have at least the Winged Arrow level, status will be valid until February 28, 2023, unless extended.
