2022 is the year of the flap, airlines are gradually resuming to full capacity, new and interesting routes are seen on the horizon. One example is Iceland's low-cost Play landing on the new continent.

Now, a year after its inception, Play is going a step further, offering connections between Europe and the U.S..

Play rates between Iceland and America
But what are the rates Of the routes connecting Iceland with the States? We took a look at the prices and we have to say that they seem to be Interesting, at least if we start from theIceland.
Take for example a Keflavik-New York in July:
The rates are around the 148€ per route, just under 300€ for round trip. However, there is an active promotion for those who take round-trip, to celebrate the activation of the connection, we do not know if prices will go up in the future.
Of course, we have to remember that this is a LOW COST, which means that the Legroom is what it is, the amenities are. limited and anything extra is at payment, including carry-on and checked baggage (and if you're going two weeks to New York City, a backpack certainly isn't enough)...
The cost for hand luggage is about a 30 euro, 10€ more if we also want checked baggage. If we fly in the off-season, the seat choice varies from the 3 at 35€ And food and drink are paid for apart.
