Thailand has reopened to tourists: everything you need to know about Test&GO and the tourist corridor to Phuket

Test&Go for those who are fully vaccinated

• If the RT-PCR result is positive or detected, a certificate of cure or proof of cure from Covid is required for at least 14 days prior to travel but less than 90 days from the first date of detection

• Thai passport and visa, Italians can travel by obtaining visa on arrival for 45 days maximum stay
• Certificate of vaccination
• Insurance with minimum coverage of $50,000 USD
• Confirmation of hotel reservation AQ / SHA Extra+ fee
• Confirmation of hotel reservation AQ / SHA Extra+ fee for 2 days (day 1 and day 5 and reservation must include 2 RT-PCR test fee and airport transfer for day 1)

If you plan to stay in Thailand for less than 5 days (including departure on day 5), only hotel reservation for day 1 (including 1 fee for RT-PCR test and airport transfer) and flight document showing departure date are required

The tourist corridor to Phuket

Italy allows from Feb. 1 non-essential travel only to Phuket. The island was the first area of Thailand to reopen its borders and is also the area with the highest number of the population vaccinated with 3 doses and even a campaign is already underway to give a fourth dose to the weakest.
