The reopening of Bali is the third of the steps of easing restrictions that the Indonesian government had enacted back in 2020. At present, a quarantine is in place upon the arrival of 3 days and a PCR test both at baseline and once quarantine is over.

So far the mandatory quarantine discouraged European tourists to travel to Bali, for the simple reason that it became too wasteful Lengthen the trip by 3 to 4 days by compulsorily staying in hotels.
The "Warm-Up Vacation" package, or an agreement between Bali and some local hotels that offered the stay-quarantine, started from minimum 700/800 dollars. But now things will fortunately change.

For Visa on Arrival, which will be reintroduced starting March 14, simply fill out the documents once they arrive, typically the process takes a maximum of half an hour. Once completed, the official will affix the classic stamp on the passport and that's it.
I requirements to apply for it are: passport valid for at least 6 months, application form, proof of hotel reservation and compulsory health insurance.
Great news then for the Indonesian island that makes the tourism its primary source of income. We can only hope that this initial test phase will be passed and that Bali officially reopens without restrictions by April 1!
