Over the past 50 years, the world has changed, even by quite a lot. They followed. fashions, lifestyles, traditions old and new, changes sometimes necessary, sometimes just transient. In short, the world of our grandparents is certainly not the same as that of today.
The uses and the costumes, also thanks to (or because of) social media. Many things can no longer be said because they are considered "politically incorrect" And, if once certain spot advertisements could be safely broadcast on public television, today many would make most people's eyes roll.
This is the case with an old advertisement of Southwest, U.S. airline established in 1967, which has always been distinguished by the kind of service offered on board. In 1972 he launched a television commercial that would turn many people's noses up today.

Before political correctness, flight attendants were purely just women. At Southwest they pushed this aspect right away to the extent that they hired dancers and strippers. The Dallas-based carrier's stewardesses were really quite provocatively dressed, as well as being specially chosen comely. Undressed and wearing sexy boots, they looked more like. cheerleaders than hostess (another word that has now fallen into disuse because it is considered politically incorrect).
