There are not many opportunities to earn points in different programs with a single expenditure. Of course, paying with American Express you always get Membership Rewards points in addition to those related to the loyalty program, but it is very rare to get with a hotel stay both points in the chain's loyalty program and points in the airline's frequent flyer program.
Today we are talking about this very opportunity, which we have already explained in another article, related to the partnership between ALL, the loyalty program of the Accor hotel chain, and Flying Blue, the frequent flyer of Air France and KLM.
The partnership
The two programs have a strong cooperation and users can normally accumulate points on both programs at the same time. When you fly you get 1 point for every 2 euros spent on AF/KLM tickets, conversely when you stay in an Accor hotel you get one flying blue point for every euro spent.
An advantage that costs nothing and in both situations allows you to earn extra points for free. In addition, it is always possible to convert points between the two programs quickly and easily. You can convert 2000 ALL points into 1000 Flying Blue points, or 4000 FB points into 1000 ALL points.
Granted, this is not one of those partnerships that will convince a user to pledge allegiance to Accor over other hotel chains, but it is free and automatic so there is no downside to linking the two accounts.
The offer
Right now, there is an offer dedicated to those who have not yet linked their accounts. It is called Miles+Points: must be activated by May 30 and is valid for stays booked by June 30.
To get the maximum bonus you must stay one night and take a qualifying flight.
