By now, it's only a matter of weeks and the new Italian airline AeroItalia will be operational. Initially it will focus on purely domestic flights and a short radius, until next year when it will take off. overseas.
The fleet will consist of Boeing 737-800, will initially be six. The first one has just left the hangar in Montpellier after being restyled; it previously belonged to Blue Panorama.

AeroItalia will be operational in spring/summer, the company's headquarters is Rome; still to be decided the HUB, but most likely it will be Fiumicino.
The person behind the birth of AeroItalia is. Gaetano Intrieri, Toninelli's former adviser, along with a string of investors, including German Efromovich, former founder of Avianca, who proposed to take over Alitalia, although offers were rejected. There is also Marc Bourgade, French banker active in the air transport industry.

The official website is still under construction, but is already collecting nominations for various job positions. On Intrieri's official page we can see some updates on the AeroItalia fleet.
Still all a work in progress but, if promises are kept, we will have a carrier that will increase domestic routes and also allow a new link with the Americas affordable.
