Mykonos has become, over the years, a favorite destination for those seeking parties and fun in exotic locations. This island in the Cyclades archipelago, in the Aegean Sea southeast of Athens, is now One of the world's recognized capitals of nightlife and social life. This is the goal of Cali Mykonos, or the brand new luxury hotel of the island, which aims to offer its guests a refined and elegant environment, keeping them away from the crowds. The facility will open to the public from July 2022.

Peace and tranquility at the Cali Mykonos hotel
Inspired, as the name also suggests, by the figure from Greek mythology Calliope, muse of epic poetry, dance and music, this new luxury hotel balances traditional and more modern architecture. It houses 40 resort options, including suites and villas, each with its own private pool And view of the Aegean Sea.
The project was overseen by the Athenian architectural firm STFN Labs, which ha skillfully fused the style of the island's structures with the sensational natural surroundings. However, without sacrificing luxury and comfort, hallmarks of Cali Mykonos. The walls of the buildings are made using a wide variety of marbles and stones, while the flat roofs are covered with vegetation and the furniture inside is being all made by local craftsmen.
The complex also houses a traditional restaurant, headed by the well-known and highly regarded Greek chef Lefteris Lazarou, but even so, Cali Mykonos provides its guests with a solution marked by discretion and avoidance of overcrowding, offering the possibility of eating meals privately in one's own accommodation.
"We wanted to create a space where you could to experience an alternative life, with the charm of culture and tradition and the awareness of a sustainable future," explained Othon Mourkakos, founder of the hotel.
