In recent hours, the ability to transfer MR points to the Dubai-based company's loyalty program has disappeared from the American Express website.
An announcement also appeared in the notes explaining how the inconvenience should be temporary, as was also confirmed to us by Amex. It was also explained to us that the problem is related to the inconvenience that some users have complained in recent days in the failure to credit points after converting from the Amex site.
Therefore, in order to avoid having more reports of delays and inconvenience, it was decided to suspend the possibility of transferring points to Emirates until the issue is resolved. Again according to company sources, the issue is expected to be resolved in the next 24/48 hours.
