New Air Canada initiative for business class passengers arriving at, or departing from theToronto airport.
Air Canada has announced that it has signed an agreement with Porsche: the German car manufacturer will be the exclusive vehicle supplier to the Air Canada Chauffeur Service in Toronto-Pearson,
Coincidental International Signature Class customers arriving from Canada will be greeted by a concierge before being whisked away on the tarmac in a Porsche vehicle to the Air Canada Signature Suite, recently reopened after a pandemic-related closure.
The fleet of vehicles will consist of electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles, including Porsche Taycan, Panamera, and Cayenne, in support of Air Canada's commitment to achieve zero net greenhouse gas emissions during its global operations by 2050.

The service will be a "casual" surprise for passengers
Unlike other carriers that offer this benefit to a well-defined cluster of passengers, e.g., Air France lo offers La Premiere passengers, first class. Air Canada will offer this special surprise treatment to business class passengers,
It is not specified at this time whether it will be restricted to members to the Aeroplan loyalty program or others, the only discriminating factor is whether one is traveling in the business class of the Canadian flag carrier.
