Bangkok Airport is one huge terminal. It is divided into several zones, and in each section there are several lounges. Official airline ones and independent ones operated by the airport.

In total there are 9 different Miracle Lounges and they are not all the same. This hall is located in Pier D the one where flights depart from, among others, Thai Airways, Singapore Airlines, Turkish, Qatar and many others. If you feel like walking, you can walk through the entire airport and go to a different area than where your flight will depart from.

This lounge serves many airlines, for example Korean Airlines and Finnair. It can be accessed either if you fly business on contract carriers or through cards such as Priority Pass, Dragonpass, and the like.

Depending on the type of card, free access is also possible with guests. In my case, as an American Express Platinum holder, I can have unlimited access to any lounge, even multiple lounges in the same airport/day with a guest without spending a euro.

Location

The lounge is on the third floor of the terminal, past security just follow the signs and go down one floor. All the lounges are on the same level, the first one you meet is the new Thai Airways lounge, really nice, then the Miracle Lounge.

In the D8/D9 gate area, continuing on the same corridor will pass the Bangkok Airways lounge, the lounge of Singapore, Qatar, Jal, China Southern to the Turkish Airlines lounge.

The Lounge

The lounge is divided into two areas: turn left, just past the reception area, to the buffet area.

There are several areas, even less well-lit ones, to relax and take a nap before the flight.

The feeling is that you are in a very elegant place, the decor is basic, but there is everything you are looking for in this type of lounge. Without forgetting that independent lounges must be heterogeneous and fit a varied type of passengers.

Food & Beverage

Not only is there an abundance of hot items, but there is also an open kitchen with the ability to order dishes on the spot.

The kitchen is also huge because it serves two Miracle lounges at the same time. The second one in this case was closed.

On the opposite side is a second island with a smaller buffet with dishes that respect Halal culture.

What is missing is a bar. Replaced by automatic hot drink machines, water fountains, and refrigerators with soft drinks, beers, and other beverages.

There is also a selection of self-service spirits

In conclusion

I have visited another Miracle Lounge in this airport before and the difference with this one is abysmal, probably this one is the best of all the ones in Bangkok. Priority Pass cardholders have many lounges to choose from. Turkish's lounge is also open to PP, but I would choose this one without a second thought.

This is just one of many reviews you can read on our site. Every Wednesday we publish a review of a lounge airport, while every Friday you can read the review of one of our flights or a hotel where we stayed.

The verdict
Beautiful and elegant, compared to other Miracle's at this stopover it is definitely better. If you do not have a status of the airline you are flying with, it is a good option where you can wait for your flight. The fact that it is one huge terminal makes it possible to get to all the lounges without major problems.
