KLM has announced a major overhaul of the cabins of its aircraft, especially of the 777/300 fleet, the older one. As recently stated by Air France The Dutch carrier also decided to renovate the business class cabin with the installation of new seats equipped with doors. Doors that, when closed, turn the seat into a small suite and give greater privacy for the passenger.

The new configuration of the KLM fleet
As seen in the infographic above, the Amsterdam-based company's entire long-haul fleet will be equipped with premium economy seats, a cabin that is becoming increasingly popular and in demand by travelers.
Premium Comfort is a completely new flight class with its own cabin, which will offer a new type of seating as well as distinctive services and catering. Depending on the type of aircraft, the capacity of Premium Comfort Class will vary from 21 to 28 seats, which will be wider than standard seats, offering more legroom, a larger screen, and a footrest.
The new business class
The most interesting news is that the configuration of the entire KLM fleet will offer business class passengers direct aisle access and a seat with a door. Just as announced by Air France.
What will be different between Air France and KLM will be the seats that the two carriers have decided to install on their planes.
The first images that KLM leaked would suggest that the choice fell on the same seat That the carrier of the famous ceramic houses offers on board 787s. This is a very popular seat, manufactured by Safran Cirrus and used by many airlines.
What will change is that a door will be added to the seat, allowing the traveler to isolate themselves from the aisle. In an increasingly competitive market, airlines seek to continually improve their premium cabin offerings.
