Airmageddon: here are the worst airports in Europe none in Italy, indeed it's Italian the best

In recent days there has been nothing but talk about London Heathrow and chaos in travel throughout Europe. From the CEO of Air France apologizing by saying it would take weeks to return suitcases stopped in Paris, to continued flight cuts by airlines, both full and low-cost.

Images of what Emirates has dubbed "Airmageddon" have gone around the world, but how are things really? Which airports are experiencing the most delayed travel these days in the old continent?

One would think Heathrow would be the worst off, and no. According to newly released data from Hopper Inc, LHR ranks 15th on the list of worst European airports, with an average of 51% of delayed flights since the beginning of July.

2. Frankfurt International Airport (FRA) 68% delayed, 7.8% canceled

5. Liszt Ferenc International Airport (BUD) 65% delayed, 2.1% canceled
6. Lisbon Airport (LIS) 65% delayed, 4.8% canceled
7. Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) 62% delayed, 3.1% canceled
8. Schiphol Airport (AMS) 61% delayed, 5.2% canceled
9. French Riviera Airport (NCE) 60% delayed, 3.4% canceled
10. Gatwick Airport (LGW) 59% delayed, 1.4% canceled

Italy can boast of not appearing with any airport in this ranking, while there are as many as two Italian airports in the opposite ranking, namely those that are performing best since the beginning of July.
