It took off on time at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 1, the first Albastar connection to Sal Island, Cape Verde. A new entry for the Spanish private carrier, which right at Milan Bergamo airport has its first operational base in Italy in terms of destinations and frequencies operated.

The connection to Sal Island is scheduled every Friday and will be operated by 189-seat Boeing 737-800s from Albastar's fleet. The carrier's partners include tour operators Caboverdetime and Veratour.
As for flight times, takeoff is scheduled every Friday from Milan Bergamo at 11:00 a.m. (arrival in Sal at 5:05 p.m.). In the opposite direction, however, departure is also scheduled on Fridays at 5:55 p.m. from Sal Island (arrival in Bergamo at 11:40 p.m.).
