New design for the plane unveiled futuristic of Boom Supersonic, the company that promised to revolutionize Air transport by supersonic aircraft.

The new design of the Overture aircraft is the result of 26 million hours of simulation software, 5 wind tunnel tests and 51 designs advanced. Scheduled for production in 2024, it will travel at Mach 1.7 (that is, 1.7 times the speed of sound), have a range of more than 7,800km and a capacity of 65/80 passengers.

United Airlines, Japan Airlines and Virgin believe in Boom Supersonic project

Also Japan Airlines has shown interest, investing $10 million for the option to purchase 20 supersonic jets, while tycoon Richard Branson has ordered 10 aircraft for the Virgin Galactic project, i.e., the space airline of Virgin.
Will Boom Supersonic make an environmentally friendly jet?
Concorde consumed 17 liters of fuel per passenger per 100km traveled, and the aircraft's noise impact was considerable, traveling at a speed of Mach 2.02.
