Threatened by an Airbnb host for giving a score of 4.9 instead of 5

Every time we organize a trip, we always take a look at the reviews. Whether it is a hotel, a restaurant, a place to visit, or an apartment on Airbnb, the reviews come to us in the choice Of the right places.
They also help us stay away from the scams, especially when it comes to apartments on Airbnb which, as opposed to hotel chains, can be anybody's and we don't have a reference to which we can make reliance if not theexperience Of those who have already used the service.
Be careful though, it is clear that as in all things there is also the other side of the coin: on some sites it is easy to counterfeit reviews because there is no verified purchase or no way to know if that person has really been to that place or not, so you still have to be careful.
On Airbnb you can only review a place if you have actually been there, so in theory they should be safe and truthful reviews... or not?
Threatened by an Airbnb host over a review
The story we are telling you has the unbelievable, a traveler was threatened via message from a host for writing a review that was not liked.
https://twitter.com/Dr_AlexM/status/1538194904706387971
The message received reads:
"I have your photograph, your name and your number. You have 48 hours to remove your review or hire a private investigator to find your home address and that's when the fun begins."
Subsequently the host blocked the number, at which point Alex Moore contacted Airbnb explaining the situation. If you think Moore wrote a review negative you are wrong, Alex in fact left a review positive, with a rating of 4 out of 5 points which has, however lowered the Host score from 5 a 4.95, a still decent score but one that apparently was not enough.
Moore contacted the police of Vancouver, which intervened by sending officers to make sure the host was not a threat for Alex. In addition, it was license revoked to the Host who will no longer be able to rent houses in his name.
A bizarre story and a warning for future room rentals. If you've had a somewhat unique host happen to you, tell us your story in the comments!
