Interesting joint promotion between World of Hyatt, a loyalty program of the hotel chain of the same name, and members of AAdvantage, a loyalty program of American Airlines.

The Park Hyatt in Auckland
All status holders with the U.S. carrier, even Gold status ( the lowest rung of elite levels in the U.S. carrier's loyalty program), can take advantage of a fast track to obtain and renew status through spring 2024.
How the offer works
First you need to link the two accounts, to do this just go into the personal area, select the promotion and follow the directions. When this is done, you will be able to sign up for the promotion, and you will get the Explorist level immediately and for 90 days.
From the moment you register, the 90-day countdown is triggered; if you meet the minimum goals within 3 months of registration, your status will be maintained until February 2024. The levels are as follows:
- 10 nights within 90 days for Explorist
- Executive Platinum members who stay 20 nights in 90 days get the Globalist level
It is possible to register for this promo by November 30. My advice is: if you are eligible, activate the promo when you plan to start using the status, this is to maximize the 3 months available and attempt the race for retention until 2024.
After connecting the accounts, members who are elite in both programs can double their awards on qualifying American Airlines flights and stays at Hyatt hotels. AAdvantage® miles earned on qualifying Hyatt stays count toward elite status with AAdvantage.
- You earn 1 World of Hyatt bonus point for every eligible $ 1 USD spent on eligible American Airlines flights.
- You earn 1 AAdvantage Base Mile for every $ 1 eligible USD spent on eligible Hyatt stays and experiences
This is in addition to the World of Hyatt points you usually earn on stays and the AAdvantage miles you get on flights.
World of Hyatt
We have talked little about this program, partly because it is much less popular than Bonvoy and Marriott and mainly because there are no other ways in Italy to accumulate points except by staying in these hotels. I recently stayed at the Park Hyatt in Auckland and I must say that it was a truly perfect stay.
The loyalty program has 4 levels in addition to the entry level. Discoverist, Explorist, Globalist and Lifetime Globalist. With only 10 nights, instead of the traditional 30, one can take advantage of the intermediate level for over a year, a real opportunity for those who qualify for this promotion.
