Like every month, FlyngBlue offers to redeem discounted award tickets with Air France and KLM have arrived in August.
Compared to recent promos, this month's is decidedly very ungenerous, as there is only one long-haul destination available: Houston.
The price starts at 15,000 points. Departing from Italy, I was able to find a cost of 19,125 FB points plus €118.20 tax.
Tickets can be booked by August 31 to travel until next January 31.
It is not on promotion, but you can find tickets for very few points even to fly to Mexico.
In fact, there are plenty of dates where you can detach a business class ticket for only 65k FB points, plus just under 270€ in taxes.
Too bad that, as usual, there are no offers for award tickets to Asia and the rest of the French/Dutch carrier's network.
FB points are easy to convert starting with Membership Rewards and the transfer timeline is, in general, less than 12 hours.
